Simple green radish salad with carrots

STEP 1

How to make green radish salad? Just grate and season! Well, this is a very simple option. Or maybe we’ll treat ourselves and add a little more flavor to our palette? Take an apple (any apple will do) and something sour. I took pomegranate seeds, maybe some lingonberries or small cranberries.
STEP 2

But it will be healthier to season with vegetable oil, so the carrots are better absorbed. And take whatever oil you like. A proven and tasty option with olive or sunflower oil. Take aromatic, unrefined. Add a little fresh lemon juice to your chosen oil; this is the fastest and most delicious type of dressing.
STEP 3

Then wash the vegetables and fruits well, peel the root vegetables. Separate the pomegranate seeds, 2 tbsp was enough for me, you may want more. If you don’t like it, you can omit the pomegranate at all or replace it with a sour berry.
STEP 4

Immediately grate the carrots into a deep salad bowl.
STEP 5

You can grate them on a Korean carrot grater, in a food processor, or use this device. It is important to obtain a thin, tender straw, but to ensure that all the juice remains in the product.
STEP 6

Then grate the green radish. (Chinese, Margelan, can be replaced with daikon. Our black is not for everybody, it can be very bitter or spicy, which not everyone will like).
STEP 7

Grate the apple last; I don’t peel the skin. The apple may darken quickly.
STEP 8

Therefore, the gas station should already be ready. Don’t hesitate to season, the lemon juice will prevent the apple from darkening and the salad will remain beautiful. Mix everything well, and then add salt, pepper, and a pinch of sugar to taste. Stir again and taste, find a balance that suits your taste.
STEP 9

Serve the salad immediately. If desired, decorate with herbs and sprinkle pomegranate seeds on top. This salad is not prepared in advance. All products are juicy, and the juice is released almost immediately after adding spices. Therefore, you need to enjoy the salad on time. Although I really love the liquid that has been released and I finish the last portion with special relish.
