STEP 1
How to make the easiest carrot cake in the oven? Prepare your food. Weigh the carrots after peeling. Choose juicy, sweet varieties - they will make the pie tastier. Take category C1 eggs, refined, odorless vegetable oil.
STEP 2
First of all, combine all the dry ingredients. Take a bowl, sift flour into it. By doing this you will not only remove possible debris, but also saturate it with oxygen, which will make the cake rise better when baking.
STEP 3
Also add sugar, baking powder and a pinch of salt - it will balance the taste of the pie. Mix the dry ingredients with a whisk. You can reduce the amount of sugar according to your taste.
STEP 4
Wash the carrots well with a brush under running water, then peel. Grate it on a medium or fine grater into another bowl. You can also grind the carrots in a blender bowl.
STEP 5
Pour oil into the carrots and beat in the eggs. Stir the wet ingredients with a fork. Be sure to wash your eggs before using them, as even seemingly clean shells can harbor harmful bacteria. It is best to use food grade detergents and a brush.
STEP 6
Combine both masses, dry and wet, mix them with a whisk or spatula until smooth. The dough will have the consistency of thick sour cream.
STEP 7
Take a suitable baking dish. I have a glass one, 18 cm in diameter. The pie didn't turn out very high. If you want a more fluffy one, then increase the amount of products or take a mold with a smaller diameter. Grease the mold with a drop of vegetable oil. Pour the dough into it.
STEP 8
Bake the pie in the oven, preheated to 180°C, for 30 to 40 minutes. The exact time will depend on your oven and the size of the cake. Check readiness with a wooden stick - it will come out dry from the center. Remove the finished pie from the oven and cool completely, only then release it from the mold - while warm it is very tender and may fall apart.
