We make the dough in the traditional way - pour flour in a heap, add eggs, water and salt to it. Calculation of liquid - 2 cups per 1 kg of flour. And knead the stiff dough. For better rolling, the dough should be set aside for a while - about 15 minutes.

Prepare the minced meat for the dumplings. Cut the meat into pieces and pass it through a meat grinder with a fine grid, or grind it with a food processor at the highest speed. Add salt, pepper, almost a whole glass of water and onion twisted in a meat grinder to the minced meat. Mix everything thoroughly. You can add finely grated raw potatoes.
STEP 4

Roll out the dough (you can brush it with beaten egg, then it will be convenient to pinch the edges). Use a glass to cut out circles.

Using a teaspoon, place the minced meat onto the mugs.

Fold the mugs with minced meat in half and seal tightly along the edge.

We also glue the ends together and give them the traditional shape of dumplings.

Place a pan of water on the fire, bring to a boil, and add salt to taste. And put the dumplings into boiling water. When the dumplings float to the surface, they are considered ready. You can let them simmer for another 2-3 minutes. Then remove with a slotted spoon and serve hot.

When serving, add sour cream, melted butter, hot sauce and vinegar separately. You can also serve finely chopped greens.
