Scones with boiled potatoes

Sift the flour with baking powder, add sugar and a pinch of salt, mix everything.
STEP 3
Add butter cut into small pieces. Grind the butter and flour into crumbs.
STEP 4
Grate the potatoes on a fine grater or mash them into a puree, add them to the flour crumbs and rub with your hands until smooth.
STEP 5
Make a well in the flour mixture, add half an egg (half will be used for brushing before baking), 1 tbsp. l. kefir and vanilla tincture. Mix.

Add cranberries (or other dried fruits or berries), knead the dough, you don’t need to knead for a long time, just gather everything into a ball.
STEP 7
Place the dough on a floured table and form a layer about 1.5 cm thick.
STEP 8
Using a cookie cutter or a knife, cut the dough into small rolls.
STEP 9
Place on a baking sheet, brush with half the egg we saved and place in the oven preheated to 180 C for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
STEP 10
We take the finished scones out of the oven, let them cool slightly and serve.
STEP 11
The outside of the scones is crispy, and the inside is soft and airy. Break the bun into 2 parts, grease with butter and jam and you can drink tea. Bon appetit!
