  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make sandwiches with red fish and cottage cheese? Prepare your food. Take any bread you like or have in stock - white, loaf, rye, baguette. I took whole grain. The shape of the pieces can also be any. Any fish is also suitable - salmon, trout, pink salmon, chum salmon.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

If your bread is not sliced, then cut it into pieces 1-1.5 cm wide. Dry it slightly in any way. I laid out the pieces on a baking sheet and put it in the oven for literally three minutes, preheated to 180°C. It should remain soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. You can also toast the bread in a frying pan or in a toaster.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

While the bread is drying and then cooling, prepare the sandwich spread. Wash the greens and dry well. I took parsley, dill and green onions work well. Choose according to your taste or availability. Tear off the tough stems and finely chop the leaves with a knife.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Place the cheese in a deep bowl. Curd, creamy, but not processed cheese is suitable. You can take it with any additives. Add herbs to the cheese and pour in a little lemon juice. Mix the cheese mixture well.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Cut the fish into thin strips. It is convenient to use ready-made sliced fish for such sandwiches.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Spread cheese on bread. I don’t skimp on the spread, I apply it in a thick layer, but it’s a matter of taste - you can make a very thin layer. You can also transfer the cheese mass into a pastry bag and pipe it using a shaped nozzle. In this case, I advise you to add a little soft butter to the cheese to make it easier to squeeze the spread out of the bag - one cheese seemed too hard for me to do this.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Arrange the fish pieces on the cheese as your imagination dictates. You can twist them into roses or make a snake like mine. Or you can just put the fish on top. Additionally decorate the sandwiches as desired. Lemon, olives, capers, sprigs of herbs, cranberries, and cucumber are suitable. Serve to the table. Bon appetit!

I decided to make sandwiches with red fish and cottage cheese. Only instead of curd cheese I took processed cheese with a creamy taste. I had weak-cured salmon, which I cut thinly. I greased the loaf slices with cheese. I placed the red fish and sprinkled it with lemon juice. I decorated the sandwiches with lemon, olives and parsley. The view is simply gorgeous. Cooking couldn't be easier. The sandwiches turned out to be delicious and can be served on a holiday table, but I made them for breakfast. Processed cheese harmonizes very well with the rest of the ingredients. The olive oil looks beautiful and is appetizing. Lemon juice perfectly complemented the lightly cured salmon. We really liked these sandwiches. I’ll make it again tomorrow and recommend it to everyone! Great recipe! Thanks to the author)
