Sandwiches with canned tuna

How to make canned tuna and egg sandwiches? Prepare the necessary ingredients.
STEP 2

Cut the baguette into even slices about 1.5 cm thick.
STEP 3

Place the baguette slices in a dry frying pan and toast on both sides over low heat until golden brown.
STEP 4

Transfer the resulting sandwich preparations to a plate and cool.
STEP 5

Peel the garlic clove. You can cut a small petal from it to enhance its taste and aroma.
STEP 6

Rub the bread slices with garlic on all sides.
STEP 7

You can proceed to preparing the filling. Transfer the canned tuna to a bowl along with the liquid. If the pieces are large, crush them with a fork until they become small pieces. I had already shredded tuna.

Cut the gherkins into small cubes. My cucumbers themselves were very small - smaller than my little finger, so I just cut them into circles.
STEP 9

Hard boil the egg, cool and peel. Grate the egg on a medium grater or cut into small cubes.
STEP 10

Place a boiled egg, canned tuna and pickled cucumbers in a salad bowl.
STEP 11

Mix the mixture thoroughly. Season with salt and pepper if necessary.

Place 1-2 tablespoons of filling on the dried bread.
STEP 13

Garnish the sandwiches with gherkins and cilantro and serve. It is better to spread the filling on the bread immediately before serving, so that the baguette does not get soggy and remains crispy. Bon appetit!
