STEP 1
How to make a delicious salad with smoked breast and fresh cucumber? Very simple and fast. To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. You can replace meat from smoked breast with meat from drumsticks or legs. You can use any cheese you like.
STEP 2
Wash the cucumbers, dry and cut into small strips or small cubes. The peel, if it is not hard, not damaged and not bitter, does not need to be cut off. You can replace one long cucumber with 2 short ones.
STEP 3
Wash the Chinese cabbage, dry it and cut it into strips. You can cut a whole head of cabbage or separate it into individual leaves. If you want the salad to be more tender, cut off the white parts in the center of the leaf.
STEP 4
Remove skin and bones from the smoked breast and cut into small pieces. You can simply disassemble the meat into fibers. You can replace smoked chicken with regular boiled or fried fillet.
STEP 5
Boil the eggs hard, cool and peel. Divide into whites and yolks. Grate the whites on a coarse grater or cut into small strips.
STEP 6
Grate the yolks on a fine grater. You can grate the yolks right away, but it’s better directly onto the salad, then they will be fluffier.
STEP 7
Grate the cheese on a coarse or medium grater.
STEP 8
Place a cooking ring with a diameter of 12-16 cm on a plate. Lay out the ingredients in layers. First, lay out the smoked chicken and spread mayonnaise on top. I transferred the mayonnaise into a piping bag to make it easier to apply to the salad.
STEP 9
Next, coat each layer with mayonnaise, add fresh cucumber, grated cheese, chopped egg whites. If desired, you can sprinkle the layers with salt and pepper. But I usually don't add spices to salads with mayonnaise.
STEP 10
Place grated yolks on the whites. I grated them on top using a fine grater. Pour mayonnaise over the yolks.
STEP 11
The last layer is chopped Chinese cabbage. There is no need to pour mayonnaise on it. Place the salad in the refrigerator for 1 hour. If you do not have the time and desire to lay out the salad in layers, you can simply combine all the ingredients in a salad bowl, season with mayonnaise and mix.
STEP 12
Remove the cooking ring before serving. Salad with smoked chicken breast and fresh cucumber, garnish with cherry tomatoes and herbs to taste. Bon appetit!
