It is better to take long grain rice. Rinse the rice well, add water so that the proportion is 1 cup of rice to 3 cups of water. Place on fire, bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium.

    Stir the rice several times while cooking to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pan. When there is little water left, turn off the heat and leave the rice covered. The remaining water will be completely absorbed into the rice. Stir it and let it cool.

    Wash the shells of chicken eggs with soap, put them in a saucepan, cover with water and put on fire. Boil the eggs for about 20 minutes from the moment the water boils. Drain the water, immediately pour ice water over the chicken eggs and leave for a while. Then, when they have cooled, peel the chicken eggs and finely chop them with a knife or pass them through an egg slicer.

For dinner I wanted to make a salad with rice, crab sticks, cucumber and corn. We love this salad, popular in many families. There is nothing complicated in cooking. The main thing is to boil the rice correctly so that the grains do not stick together and turn into porridge. I took long grain steamed. Boil it in plenty of water until tender and rinse with cold boiled water. I cooked the eggs for 10 minutes after boiling, during which time they become “steep”. I decided to add chopped dill to the salad. It is fragrant and gives a pleasant aftertaste. For added piquancy, I sprinkled it with freshly ground pepper. The salad is delicious, filling, and refreshing thanks to the cucumber! It can be served on a holiday table or just for dinner.
