    How to make a salad with potatoes, sausage and cucumber? Prepare all the necessary products. It is better to take good quality sausage; you can use sausages or even frankfurters. Use juicy, sweet and sour apple varieties. For contrast and brightness of the finished salad, I used red onions instead of onions.

    Wash the potatoes and eggs thoroughly and boil in lightly salted water until the potatoes are ready. Drain the water, cool the potatoes and eggs completely.

    Peel potatoes, eggs, onions, remove casing from sausage.

    Cut the potatoes into slices about 0.5 centimeters thick, pickled cucumbers and eggs into thin rings. The salad can be chopped into medium-sized cubes if desired. I prefer to cut into circles. When stirring the finished salad, the potato rings and eggs are broken into pieces of different sizes, which, in my opinion, makes the salad look more appetizing.

    Cut the onion and sausage into small squares.

    Drain the juice from the corn and add it to the salad. It is better to chop the apple into the salad last and immediately season it with mayonnaise. This way the apple will not darken and spoil the appearance of the finished salad. It is better to peel the apple first.

    Add mayonnaise to all ingredients. It is better if you use homemade mayonnaise. For a richer taste, add a teaspoon of mustard to the mayonnaise and add the mustard-mayonnaise sauce to the salad. Stir and taste for salt; if necessary, add salt to taste.

    Let it brew for a few minutes, stir again and serve! Sprinkle with fresh herbs and ground black pepper if desired.

The salad with potatoes, sausage and cucumber interested me because of its composition. Firstly, I love apples in salad, and secondly, I really wanted to try what would happen. And it turned out delicious! I didn’t add any onion, but when I tasted it, I realized what I was missing. I finely chopped young garlic, parsley and dill. And the taste was finally formed. But that's just my taste. You must first make everything according to the original recipe, and only then, if it turns out that you are missing something, add it to your taste.
