Fill clean potatoes with cold water and place on the stove. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce the flame, cover the pan with a lid and cook until the potatoes are ready. You can check the degree of readiness using a toothpick. Drain the boiling water from the pan and cool the tubers.

    During this time, move on to other products. Peel the onion. Red lettuce or shallots are perfect for the salad. You can use regular onion. Cut the onion into thin half rings or quarter rings. Place in a deep, small bowl.

Today I prepared a salad with potatoes and pickles. I boiled large potatoes and marinated regular onions in vinegar. I took pickled cucumbers. I cut everything up and put it together. Mixed well, added salt and chopped parsley. I didn't add black pepper. I seasoned the salad with aromatic sunflower oil. It turned out tasty and satisfying!
