STEP 1

How to make a salad with Chinese cabbage, ham and cucumber? Prepare your food. Take small size Chinese cabbage; to prepare the salad you will need a third of it. Choose high quality ham from a reliable manufacturer. And finally, cucumbers. At any time of the year, I recommend buying small cucumbers with pimples - these cucumbers are the most fragrant.
STEP 2

Rinse the salad well, remove and discard the top 1-2 leaves - most of the dirt accumulates on them. Cut the cabbage into thin strips. If such a salad is not available, it is quite possible to replace it with any leafy or finely chopped lettuce. Or you can use regular white cabbage, preferably young, of course.
STEP 3

Wash the cucumbers well. Then dry them. Cut off the ends and cut the cucumbers into small cubes. Be sure to try the cucumber to see if it is bitter - such a fruit will spoil the taste of the salad.
STEP 4

Cut the ham into small cubes. It is quite possible to replace ham with boiled or boiled-smoked sausage, as well as boiled or fried chicken and meat.
STEP 5

Boil the eggs hard. Cool, peel and cut into small cubes.
STEP 6

Mix all the chopped ingredients, add salt to taste, taking into account that the ham is quite salty, and mayonnaise contains a lot of salt. I recommend using your own homemade mayonnaise. Mayonnaise can be replaced with sour cream of any fat content, or you can season the salad with light yogurt without additives, for example, Greek.
