Salad with chicken beans and croutons

Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make a salad with chicken, beans and croutons? Prepare all the products that are listed. Take canned beans, then preparing the salad will not take much time. It is acceptable to use turkey instead of chicken. Rinse lettuce leaves, bell peppers and peeled onions and dry.
STEP 2
Cut white bread or loaf into small cubes.
STEP 3
Fry the bread in a preheated dry frying pan until the sides are golden brown, while turning the flame slightly above medium. Stir constantly, otherwise the crackers will burn. Remove the pan from the stove, add vegetable oil, garlic powder, a pinch of salt and dry oregano to the crackers. Stir until all the spices and salt are evenly distributed throughout the bread. Leave the croutons in the hot frying pan for a while to dry them.
STEP 4
Separate the chicken meat from the bone and cut into cubes. I used chicken breast for the salad. Add a little vegetable oil to the frying pan and fry the pieces of meat over high heat for literally 5 minutes, stirring. While frying, add a pinch of your favorite spices if desired. Remove the pan from the heat and lightly salt the meat.
STEP 5
Place lettuce leaves, pre-cut as desired, on the bottom of a wide flat plate. Which leaves are best to use? Take a mix of green leaves, lettuce, romaine, field lettuce, iceberg or others. The above varieties are in perfect harmony with all the ingredients in the salad.
STEP 6
Place the fried chicken meat on the leaves in an even thin layer.
STEP 7
Place the beans in a colander, rinse under running cold water, then shake the colander to remove excess water. Add beans to lettuce and chicken.
STEP 8
Next comes the turn of the onion. I used red onions, they look very nice in the finished dish and also have a mild flavor that is perfect for salads. Cut the onion into thin feathers or half rings. Add the next layer to the salad.
STEP 9
Cut the bell pepper into two pieces lengthwise. Remove seeds and core. Cut the vegetable into thin strips or half rings, as you prefer.
STEP 10
Follow the pepper with a layer of grated cheese and breadcrumbs.
STEP 11
Add mayonnaise and mustard in portions. Done, ready to serve!
STEP 12
Mix the salad well before eating.
