STEP 1
How to make a salad of tomatoes, cucumbers and bell peppers? Prepare all the ingredients called for in the recipe. From seasonal vegetables collected from the garden, the salad will turn out to be much tastier and more aromatic. You can use olive, regular vegetable or rapeseed oil. The quantity of each component can be adjusted according to your own taste preferences. So, rinse all vegetables and herbs in cold water and dry with paper towels.
STEP 2
If the cucumber has rough skin, it should be cut off. Cut the cucumbers into medium-sized cubes. In general, the method of cutting vegetables can be absolutely any. The salad will look beautiful and elegant if all the components are chopped in the same way, for example, into cubes or slices. Place the cucumber in a deep salad bowl.
STEP 3
Cut the bell peppers into two halves and remove the core, seeds and white veins. For the salad, I took 4 small bell peppers of different colors. Cut the pepper into cubes and add to the cucumbers.
STEP 4
Cut off the places where the stems attach to the tomatoes. Cut each tomato in half and then chop into cubes. Add to cucumbers and peppers.
STEP 5
Prepare a flavorful dressing. Pour olive oil into a small deep bowl. Add a pinch of your favorite dry spices. I used 0.25 tsp. dry thyme and garlic powder, also added a ready-made mixture for vegetable salads and a mixture of ground peppers. Mix everything thoroughly.
STEP 6
Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. The finished dish will look very bright and appetizing if you take red onion or shallot. Add olives, onions to the salad bowl and pour aromatic dressing over everything.
STEP 7
Chop the greens and add to the salad. Salt everything to taste and mix.
STEP 8
If you have a few leaves of fresh green salad, be sure to add them to your vegetables.
STEP 9
Mix everything thoroughly. Salad ready!
STEP 10
Before serving, the salad can be cooled for some time in the refrigerator (5-10 minutes). Serve it up!
