How to make red pancakes? Prepare the necessary ingredients. First boil the beets and squeeze the juice out of them. Or you can take ready-made beets in vacuum packaging (sold in Pyaterochka). Don't take any store-bought juices - they can be very salty.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Melt the butter in any way convenient for you: on the stove, in the microwave.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

In a separate bowl, mix eggs with sugar and salt until smooth.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

    Pour milk into the eggs.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Then add beet juice. Whisk the mixture until smooth.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Pour vegetable oil and melted butter into the egg mixture. Stir.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Sift the flour through a sieve and add it to the dough in parts. Watch its consistency - you may need more or less flour than I did.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

You should get a homogeneous batter without lumps.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Bake the pancakes in a greased frying pan for 1 minute on each side, making sure that they do not fry too much and do not lose their beautiful red color.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

It takes me 1.5 minutes per pancake to fry. At maximum heat. Focus on your stove and frying pan. You may need to reduce or increase the roasting time.

The pancakes look original and very elegant. And if you add cocoa to the dough, you get such delicious chocolate pancakes!

Today I wanted to fry some unusual pancakes. I found this interesting recipe for red pancakes! I like colored pastries, I even made them with spinach once) For these pancakes I cooked two medium-sized beets, but the juice turned out to be not enough. After some thought, I decided to try chopping all the beets. It was already grated on a fine grater; for greater homogeneity, I transferred it to a blender and crushed it into a smooth puree. Then I added all the ingredients according to the list and blended in the same blender. I got 200 g of beets, so I increased the amount of other products using a calculator. I only took 100 ml of milk. more due to the beet pulp. This is the bright pink dough I ended up with, smooth and of excellent quality. The pancakes fried perfectly, did not tear or stick. These pancakes are flexible and have no holes; they would be great to wrap a delicious filling in and cut into pucks. And we ate them with cottage cheese, sour cream and raspberries) The pancakes are very tasty, slightly sweet, you can hardly taste the beets. And they are also useful!
