    STEP 1

How to make Rabbit salad from ham, rice and corn? Prepare all products according to the list. Any hard type of cheese is suitable, I have gouda. Onions can be omitted if desired. Cook the rice until cooked according to the instructions on the package. Pour cold water over the eggs and place on the stove. After boiling, reduce the flame and cook the eggs for 13-15 minutes.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

At this time, work on the rest of the products. Drain the juice from canned corn. Place the corn kernels in a deep, comfortable cup.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Rinse half a long salad cucumber and dry with napkins. Cut the cucumber into small cubes. Place in a cup.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Chop the ham into small pieces and add to the corn and cucumber.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Drain the water from the eggs, cool and peel them. Grate the eggs using a coarse grater and add to all other ingredients.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Add boiled and slightly cooled rice to the salad bowl.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Salt the salad to taste, pepper and season with mayonnaise. You should not use too much mayonnaise, otherwise the salad will not hold its shape. Mix everything thoroughly and taste it. Add salt if necessary.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

At this stage, you can add finely chopped onions and herbs if desired. The salad turns out delicious both with and without onions. Mix everything again.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

On a flat oblong dish, form the head and body of the rabbit. For convenience, use rubber disposable gloves.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Cut two small semi-ovals from the hard cheese and set aside (these will be the ears).

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Grate the rest of the cheese on a fine grater. Place it in a thin layer on the salad, pressing lightly with your hand.

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

Cover the entire surface of the future rabbit with an even layer.

  13. STEP 13

    STEP 13

Using parsley or dill, lay out a line as in the photo to visually separate the head from the body.

  14. STEP 14

    STEP 14

Insert a toothpick halfway into each ear as in the photo.

  15. STEP 15

    STEP 15

Place the ears on the bunny's head.

  16. STEP 16

    STEP 16

Cut the olive or olive in half and form eyes on the head. The spout can be made from a small piece of ham or carrot.

  17. STEP 17

    STEP 17

Place parsley or dill on the dish and decorate the rabbit to your liking. For decoration, use ham, cheese, carrots, cucumber or olives.

  18. STEP 18

    STEP 18

Place the prepared salad in the refrigerator to steep and cool for a while.

I really liked your rabbit. I also wanted to make a rabbit salad with ham, corn and rice for the New Year 2023. The only thing is that I slightly replaced the salad ingredients with those that were on hand. I tried to repeat the design. Instead of rice, I used potatoes (they also hold together well because of the starch), instead of ham I took boiled sausage, and also added carrots. I boiled all the vegetables and grated them on a fine grater. I mixed vegetables, eggs, onions, sausage and seasoned with mayonnaise and a little pepper. The salad itself was delicious. The registration did not take much time. I laid out the salad in the shape of a rabbit, sprinkled it with grated cheese and decorated it almost like the author. I made the nose from sausages, the rim from sausages, and the eyes from prunes. I added sausage to the cheese ears, securing it with mayonnaise. Unrealistically beautiful! The salad is delicious and very original. Such a Rabbit will definitely decorate our festive New Year's table! It’s not difficult to do at all, but you need to spend a little time on design. I recommend everyone to cook such a wonderful Rabbit!!! Many thanks to the author for the idea!!!
