Quick multicooker cake with fruit

Fast, filling, delicious cake. You will definitely like it! I am a young mother on maternity leave. I am not allowed to spend a lot of time on food. That’s why I always keep these super quick recipes in stock. As soon as an event is planned, I quickly knead the biscuit dough and put it in the slow cooker. Later I layer it and after 2 hours the cake is ready. And most importantly, you don’t need to endlessly hang around the oven and graze the cake. Fast! Economical! Minimum effort! Very simple! Delicious!

Step-by-step preparation

Cooking timeCooking time: 2 hr
  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

Mix 6 eggs with 1 cup sugar

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

    Gradually add 1 cup flour

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Quench 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda with vinegar (I use 70% vinegar essence). Add slaked soda to the dough and mix

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Pre-lubricate the multicooker bowl with butter. Place the dough into the bowl. Set it to “Baking” mode. Each model has its own standard baking time. My multicooker has a standard setting of 1 hour. It is better not to open the lid before cooking, as the biscuit may fall off.

Approximate width. I usually divide it into 3 parts and end up with 4 cakes.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

We make the cream: mix 1 pack of sour cream 20% with powdered sugar and vanilla. I apply the powder by eye - so that the cream does not turn out too cloyingly sweet. About 100 g (or half a glass of sugar) You can also add sugar. You just have to stir until the sugar is completely dissolved so that there are no crystals in the cream.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Spread the cut cakes with sour cream on both sides (so that it soaks in better) and layer them with fruits, berries, jam, dried fruits - whatever your heart desires!

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Another option for sandwiching a layer with fruit

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

I also generously fill the top of the cake with sour cream. I decorate with berries, fruits, chocolate chips, dragees, etc. Be sure to coat the sides of the cake with cream. Place in the refrigerator for 2 hours. After 2 hours you can serve. But ideally, let it sit overnight for complete distribution of the cream throughout the product. Bon appetit!

Thanks for the recipe!!!! The cake turned out very tasty! True, I only got three cakes, but when soaked they rise a lot! This will need to be taken into account and the cakes can be cut narrower... For the filling we used peach jam, bananas and canned pineapples. The taste is amazing!!!!! thanks again

Really very simple and delicious sponge cake, thanks for the recipe! I have only one note: you shouldn’t open the multicooker lid after baking for at least another hour and a half. Otherwise the biscuit will fall off. Verified. But naturally we turn off the heating mode. Today I’m making this cake for the third time in a week)))) thanks again for the recipe!!!
