Quick dough pies in a frying pan with mushrooms and chicken

Unusual, but very interesting and easy to prepare pies! I found this recipe by chance on the Internet - and I immediately liked it... Unusual, but very quick dough for pies, interesting molding and very tasty filling - all this simply could not leave me indifferent and I tried to cook them! The result exceeded all my expectations - when fresh, the pies are slightly crispy, and when they sit for a while, they become soft and remain that way for several days!

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

Here are all the necessary ingredients

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

The dough is prepared in a matter of minutes: melt the butter, add milk and gradually add flour. I didn’t add salt to the dough - I liked it (after all, the filling will be salty), but if you wish, you can add 0.5 teaspoon. l. salt

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Using a spoon, then knead the dough with your hands. It mixes very easily. Then we put it in a bag and put it in the refrigerator while we make the filling.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

For the filling, finely chop the onion

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Fry in a hot frying pan...

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

    ... until golden brown

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Then add the minced meat (I used chicken, but you can use any other) and mix, trying to break up the lumps, fry for 3-5 minutes

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

    Solim

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

    Let's pepper

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Add mushrooms (I use wild porcini mushrooms, but you can use any others - champignons, oyster mushrooms - it will be very tasty)

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

    Stir

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

Fry covered for another 5-7 minutes, and then leave the filling to cool. By the way, the filling can be prepared in advance - then our pies will be even faster

  13. STEP 13

    STEP 13

We take our dough out of the refrigerator and cut it into 3-4 parts

  14. STEP 14

    STEP 14

Pinch off a piece the size of a plum from any part.

  15. STEP 15

    STEP 15

Roll out thinly (by the way, there is no need to add flour, due to the fact that butter is added to the dough, it will not stick to the table)

  16. STEP 16

    STEP 16

    Add some filling

  17. STEP 17

    STEP 17

Fold the dough in half and pinch the edges to form a small cheburek.

  18. STEP 18

    STEP 18

The above ingredients make 35-40 pies.

  19. STEP 19

    STEP 19

Fry the pies in a heated frying pan with the addition of vegetable oil. Again, due to the added butter, the pies absorb less vegetable oil when frying.

  20. STEP 20

    STEP 20

Turn over and cook on the other side

  21. STEP 21

    STEP 21

    Bon appetit!

It’s even easier to buy ready-made puff pastry and bake chicken pies like these. Simple, fast and very tasty!
