Preparing and freezing vegetables and herbs
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

We prepare the necessary vegetables and herbs for harvesting and freezing for the winter, wash them well and dry them on a towel.
STEP 2

Finely chop the parsley and place in a large, convenient container.
STEP 3

Finely chop the dill and add it to the container with the parsley.
STEP 4

Also finely chop a bunch of green onions.
STEP 5

Add chopped green onions to the container with the rest of the greens, mix and place in a special liter freezer bag, release the air and pack tightly into the freezer.
STEP 6

Chop the sorrel leaves quite coarsely.
STEP 7

Place the sorrel in a frying pan with a little boiling water and blanch. When the color of the sorrel has changed to olive, put it in a colander and drain, then place it on a plate to cool.
STEP 8

We prepare the spinach without chopping it, blanch it in the same way as sorrel, then put it on a plate and cool completely.
STEP 9

Cut the tomatoes into one-centimeter rings.
STEP 10

Place the tomatoes in a bag and put them in the freezer.
STEP 11

Cut the cucumbers into small cubes and put them in a bag and put them in the freezer.
