Potatoes with minced meat in a slow cooker in layers

STEP 1
How to bake potatoes with minced meat in a slow cooker in layers? Prepare ingredients for filling. All products should be at room temperature, so they need to be removed from the refrigerator in advance and kept there for about half an hour. Take sour cream with a fat content of 20-30%, spices to taste, I used Provençal herbs.
STEP 2
Beat the egg with a whisk until smooth. We just need the egg mass to mix well; there is no need to beat until fluffy.
STEP 3
Add heavy sour cream, Provençal herbs and salt to the beaten egg. Fat sour cream will make the filling more rich, tender, and soft. If you take another one, it will turn out less tasty.
STEP 4
Mix everything thoroughly until smooth. This can be done with a fork, spoon or the same whisk. You should get a semi-viscous homogeneous mass.
STEP 5
Prepare the remaining ingredients: minced meat, potatoes, cheese, ground black pepper and salt. You can use any minced meat you wish: beef, pork, a mixture of beef and pork, chicken
STEP 6
Peel the potatoes and cut into not very thick slices. If you cut the potatoes into cubes, the layer will not be completely closed and the meat juice from the minced meat will leak through the potatoes. And this will reduce the juiciness of the meat layer.
STEP 7
Grate the cheese on a coarse or medium grater (there is no point in grating it on a fine grater, because the cheese will melt anyway). By the way, for cheese lovers, you can take a little more of it - then the crust will turn out more rich. Choose a good, high-quality product, without milk fat substitutes. And it will be better if the cheese melts well.
STEP 8
Place the first layer on the bottom of a multicooker bowl greased with vegetable oil: half of the potato slices, overlapping. The bottom of the multicooker should be completely covered with potatoes, preferably in two layers. There should be no gaps between the circles. Lightly salt and pepper the potatoes.
STEP 9
Distribute all the minced meat evenly on top. I use mixed minced pork and beef. I did not salt or pepper the minced meat, since everything is poured on top with a sour cream mixture, which already contains salt. During cooking, the layers will be saturated with the filling, and there will be enough salt. Our family doesn't like onions, so I didn't add them. But you can cook with onions. Add the onion to the minced meat before putting it in the slow cooker.
STEP 10
Pour half of the sour cream mixture over the minced meat.
STEP 11
Place the remaining potato slices on top of the minced meat. Pour the remaining sour cream mixture over the potatoes.
STEP 12
Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
STEP 13
Place the bowl with minced meat and potatoes in the slow cooker. Set the “Baking” mode for 1 hour. Depending on the multicooker model, more or less time may be needed. It all depends on the baking temperature, if you set it. I set the temperature to 160 degrees. In an hour the minced meat and potatoes were ready. Cool the finished dish a little and serve.
