Potatoes with meat in a sleeve in the oven

Simple, fast, convenient, for dinner and second! Potatoes with meat baked in a sleeve in the oven turn out juicy and aromatic due to the fact that all the juices remain inside and do not spread over the baking sheet. In addition, it is very convenient - side dish and meat in one package.

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to bake potatoes with meat in a sleeve? Prepare your food. Any meat will do, I have pork. If it was frozen, then defrost it first by transferring it from the freezer to the bottom shelf of the refrigerator. For spices, I took ground black pepper, paprika and hot chili. You can add garlic to taste. First wash the vegetables well with a brush under running water.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Wash the meat, dry it and cut it into small pieces.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Peel the carrots and cut into rings or cubes, as you like. You can grate it on a coarse grater.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Cut the peeled onion into cubes or half rings.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Clean and peeled potatoes - in large cubes the size of pieces of meat.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Take a baking sleeve about 50 cm long. Tie one end tightly. Place potatoes, onions and carrots in it.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Place meat on top of vegetables. Add salt and spices. Pour in vegetable oil. Tie the loose end, leaving some space.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Mix the products with your hands, actively turning the sleeve from side to side. Place it either in a larger mold or on a baking sheet. Using a knife, make small punctures on top to allow steam to escape.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Bake the meat and potatoes in the oven at 180°C for about one hour. Then remove the pan from the oven without turning off the heat. Using a knife and fork, carefully cut the top of the sleeve and open the edges. Turn on the grill or convection mode in the oven. Let the meat and potatoes sit for another 10-15 minutes until a golden brown crust forms on top. If you do not have convection, then put the meat on normal mode until browning.

Meat with vegetables, what could be tastier?! I made this recipe for dinner. Everything is so simple, it’s almost unusual. I cut potatoes, onions, carrots, and pork as described in the recipe. She put everything in her sleeve. Added salt, pepper, oil, paprika and potato seasoning. I mixed everything right in my sleeve. Tied and baked for an hour. What could be simpler! Potatoes with meat in a sleeve in the oven turned out great. The potatoes are tender and soft, the carrots are very tasty, sweet and juicy, the onions are perfectly cooked, and the meat is deliciously soft and flavorful. The dish is quick, simple, filling and very tasty. Just right for an everyday table. Came home from work, one or two and it's done. Many thanks to the author 😊

A very simple and quick way to prepare dinner. Minimum active actions. In addition, the dishes do not get dirty, which is very convenient) I took twice as many potatoes, simply because we love them) I added rosemary, basil, paprika and black pepper as spices. The meat turned out aromatic, soft, with a rich taste of herbs. The potatoes retained their shape, but at the same time became soft and juicy. The carrots were not overcooked either, they remained slightly hard and had a sweetish taste. I really liked the dish and will cook it again! Thanks for the recipe!
