Place the meat in a deep bowl, add spices: salt and ground black pepper to taste, pour in olive oil and mix. Peel the onions and cut into cubes or halves of rings, as you prefer.

I like oven dishes, so I was interested in the recipe for meat and potatoes on a baking sheet in the oven. I took lean, soft meat - pork belly. Vegetables - potatoes, carrots and onions. I wanted to add a couple more champignons (I had them frozen), which were not in the recipe. I cut the meat into small pieces, put it in a deep bowl, added salt and vegetable oil, replacing olive oil. I chopped the vegetables and put them in a bowl with the meat, mixed them, and left them to marinate for 20 minutes. Then I placed the meat, vegetables and champignons on a baking sheet lined with foil, poured a little water and put the baking sheet in the oven. I baked the meat and potatoes for 20 minutes under foil, then 40 minutes without foil (I waited for the top of the meat and potatoes to dry out a little and took the baking sheet out of the oven). The dish turned out very tasty and very aromatic. The vegetables were well baked and filled with delicious juices. I liked the meat, soft and juicy, tasted a little like kebab. Wonderful recipe! Meat and potatoes on a baking sheet in the oven - it's simple and delicious! Anyone with a stove and a frying pan can prepare such an interesting dish for dinner.
