Pork chops in batter in a frying pan
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to fry battered pork chops in a frying pan? It is better to use pork tenderloin and always fresh meat. Rinse the pork thoroughly and dry with paper towels. Cut the meat into thin slices. To make the chops more tender and juicy, beat the meat with a kitchen hammer. It is better to do this by wrapping each piece of pork in cling film or placing it in a plastic bag so that the meat does not splatter.
STEP 2
Make the batter for the chops. Each housewife has her own favorite batter recipe, different from others, with a different set of ingredients and spices. The simplest batter is made from milk and eggs; some use sour cream, mayonnaise or mineral water instead of milk. Beat a chicken egg into a bowl. Add salt and ground black pepper to taste.
STEP 3
Whisk the ingredients with a fork or hand whisk until the egg whites are completely incorporated.
STEP 4
Pour in milk, stir. Add sifted wheat flour. Stir the mixture thoroughly so that the flour does not form lumps. For flavor, you can add a clove of garlic passed through a press to the batter, but this is a matter of taste. Stir the mixture.
STEP 5
Pour vegetable oil into the frying pan. Turn on the fire. The oil needs to be heated well. Dip each piece of pork into a bowl of batter so that the meat is coated on all sides.
STEP 6
Place the battered pork pieces on the heated oil in a frying pan. Over high heat, fry the meat on both sides until golden brown. Then cover the pan with a lid, reduce the heat to medium and keep the chops in the pan for about 10 minutes so that the meat inside is well cooked.
STEP 7
Then remove the chops from the pan and place them first on a plate lined with paper towels to drain off excess fat and oil. Then transfer the chops to plates and serve. If desired, you can serve the meat with a side dish or fresh vegetables. Bon appetit!
