Incredibly juicy and fluffy. The tea party will be a success! The poppy seed cake is made from ingredients available to everyone and turns out so delicious that it’s impossible to resist. I just want to try at least one piece.

I have long wanted to bake something with poppy seeds. I liked this recipe for its simplicity and classic set of ingredients for making a cupcake. The dough is kneaded quickly and clearly, it turned out thick and has a pleasant consistency. I ground the poppy seed in the blender for about two minutes, but I didn’t understand whether it was ground or not) Well, at least after I opened the lid, a cloud of tiny particles similar to flour rose up. Added poppy seeds to the dough and mixed. Instead of baking powder, I took soda and quenched it with lemon juice, and also added lemon zest to the dough for flavor. Baked for at least an hour. The result was a classic cupcake. It cuts well and doesn't crumble. It tastes like lemon and poppy seeds) It seemed to me that you could reduce the amount of sugar a little, but this is not for everybody. In general, we all liked the cupcake, it was very tasty! Inside it is porous, juicy, slightly moist. These are simply amazing baked goods for family tea parties. Thanks for the recipe!
