Pollock fillet in batter and breadcrumbs in a frying pan

Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
Remove the pollock fillet from the freezer in advance and defrost completely at room temperature. Then drain on paper towels to remove excess moisture.
STEP 2
Cut the fish into portions and sprinkle lemon juice on both sides.
STEP 3
Then prepare two plates. Pour some breadcrumbs into one of them. Break the eggs into the other and add a little salt and fish spice to taste. Mix with a whisk until smooth. Dip each piece of fish fillet into the egg and then roll in breadcrumbs.
STEP 4
Pour a little vegetable oil into a hot frying pan and place the breaded fish pieces. Turn the heat to medium and fry for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
STEP 5
Then carefully turn over, using a spatula, to the other side. And also fry for 2-3 minutes.
STEP 6
Remove the finished fish from the pan and place on prepared paper napkins to remove excess fat. For fried fish, mashed potatoes are the best side dish. Bon appetit!
