Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
Prepare the necessary ingredients for making pizza. To prepare the dough, you can use your favorite recipe. Tomato sauce can be prepared ready-made or made from fresh tomatoes. You can use spices for the sauce according to your taste.
STEP 2
To prepare the dough, dissolve dry yeast in warm water (125 ml) with a teaspoon of sugar. Leave on the table until a cap forms. Then mix the sifted flour, salt, sugar, olive oil with the prepared yeast. Knead the dough and leave it in a warm place for 30 - 40 minutes until the volume doubles.
STEP 3
For tomato sauce, mix canned tomatoes (if they are chopped, rub through a sieve or grind with a blender) with salt, sugar and dry spices. I add Provençal herbs. If the sauce is made from fresh tomatoes, it should be boiled until the liquid evaporates.
STEP 4
Remove the mozzarella and sausage from the packaging and remove the films. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater, cut the pepperoni into thin slices.
STEP 5
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees. Knead the risen dough and shape it into a circle. This can be done using a rolling pin or stretching the dough with your hands.
STEP 6
Spread tomato sauce evenly over the dough. If you like the edges of the dough without sauce on your pizza, then the sauce should be applied within 1.5 - 2 cm of the edge of the pizza.
STEP 7
Spread grated mozzarella evenly over the tomato sauce.
STEP 8
Spread the sliced sausage evenly. Place the pizza in the preheated oven for 10 - 15 minutes. During this time, watch the degree of browning of the pizza itself.
STEP 9
Remove the finished pizza from the oven, let it stand for a couple of minutes and you can cut it into portions and serve.
