STEP 1
To prepare delicious pies with cabbage filling, prepare the necessary products with spices.

We start cooking by kneading the dough and breaking two chicken eggs into a large bowl.

Add half a teaspoon of salt and seven grams of dry instant yeast to the bowl.

Pour two tablespoons of sugar into a bowl, add fifty grams of butter and mix.
STEP 5
Add two hundred and fifty milliliters of warm water to the bowl, constantly stirring all the ingredients with a whisk.
STEP 6
Sift five hundred and fifty grams of flour into a bowl.
STEP 7
Mix well, begin to knead and form the dough.
STEP 8
Place the dough on the table, which we sprinkle with a small amount of flour.
STEP 9
Knead the dough thoroughly with your hands for ten minutes so that the pies hold their shape well.

Grease the inside of the bowl with a small amount of vegetable oil.
STEP 11
Place the dough in a bowl, cover with a napkin or towel and leave in a warm place to rise for one hour.

We begin preparing the filling for the pies and finely chop one kilogram of white cabbage.

Grate two medium carrots on a coarse grater and finely chop one onion.

Add three tablespoons of vegetable oil to a deep frying pan and add carrots and onions.

Stir-fry the vegetables for about ten minutes until golden, turning on the stove over high heat.

Place shredded cabbage in a frying pan with fried carrots and onions.

Add salt to taste to the pan and fry the vegetables over high heat for fifteen minutes.

Lower the heat on the stove and put two tablespoons of tomato paste into the frying pan, then add cumin and red pepper to taste.

Add a bay leaf to the pan to taste and two cloves of garlic, which we squeeze through a garlic press.

Add dry herbs, a mixture of four peppers to the pan and thoroughly mix all the ingredients, close the lid and cook for another ten minutes.

After an hour, place the dough on a table greased with a small amount of vegetable oil and knead it well again.
STEP 22
Divide the dough into approximately equal parts and, kneading each into a flat cake, fill them in the required amount with the prepared cabbage filling.
STEP 23
We glue the edges of the dough well and form pies.
STEP 24
Place the pies on a baking sheet, seam side down, and let them rise for twenty minutes.
STEP 25
After time has passed, brush the well-placed pies with beaten egg and place in the oven, which has been preheated to one hundred and seventy-five degrees for twenty-five to thirty minutes.

After time, grease the pies with butter or milk for gloss.
