Pickled cucumbers with garlic
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make pickled cucumbers with garlic for the winter? Take all the necessary products for winter preparation. Choose fresh, small-sized cucumbers.
STEP 2
Wash the selected cucumbers under running water. Then place them in a bowl and cover with cold water. The water should completely cover the fruit. Leave them in the water for half an hour.
STEP 3
Peel the garlic. If the cloves are large, you can cut them into a couple of pieces. Leave small cloves whole. Wash the dill umbrellas under running water.
STEP 4
Wash the jars thoroughly. It is better to wash them with baking soda without resorting to using detergents. Often the chemical compositions of such products cannot be completely washed off from the dishes. Then sterilize the jars. You can sterilize with boiling water, over steam, in the microwave or in the oven. Here you can choose any convenient method.
STEP 5
Also sterilize the lids. To do this, just place them in a saucepan or bowl and pour boiling water over them. Hold it like this for 1-2 minutes and remove it.
STEP 6
Place dill umbrellas, garlic, peppercorns, and mustard seeds on the bottom of the jars.
STEP 7
Wash the cucumbers, cut off the ends and fill the jar with cucumbers.
STEP 8
Pour water into a saucepan and place on fire. As soon as it boils, pour in the cucumbers. Pour generously, even if a little spills over the top. Cover the jars with lids and leave for 20 minutes.
STEP 9
After the specified time has passed, pour the water into a saucepan and bring to a boil again. It is very convenient to drain using a plastic lid with holes. Pour boiling water over the cucumbers again and leave for 20 minutes.
STEP 10
Drain the water again, this time adding sugar and salt. Boil it. When the sugar and salt crystals are completely dissolved, pour in the vinegar and stir.
STEP 11
Pour the hot marinade over the cucumbers and seal tightly.
STEP 12
Turn the blanks upside down and wrap them in a blanket. Leave for a day until completely cooled. Then transfer the workpieces to a permanent storage location in the cellar. Good preparations to you!
