STEP 1
How to make pasta with red fish in creamy sauce? First of all, prepare all the necessary ingredients that are indicated in the recipe. If you have frozen fish, remove it from the freezer in advance and leave it at room temperature until completely thawed. What pasta is best to use? You can use whatever you like; it is preferable to use tagliatelle (long, thin, wide pasta) for this recipe.

Boil pasta in lightly salted water according to package directions. The pasta should be al dente. Place the finished tagliatelle in a colander and drain off all excess liquid.
STEP 3
At this time, remove the skin from the red fish and remove the bones, if any. Cut the fillet into medium-sized cubes.

Heat vegetable oil in a thick-bottomed frying pan. Fry the red fish pieces over medium heat. You shouldn’t cook the fish for too long, literally 2-3 minutes is enough, otherwise the fish will become dry. When frying, do not forget to stir the pieces periodically so that they do not burn. Sprinkle the fish with freshly squeezed lemon juice.

Prepare the cream sauce. In a dry frying pan, briefly fry the flour, stirring constantly. At the same time, reduce the flame to slightly below medium, otherwise the flour will burn. Add butter.

While stirring, melt it and stir the mixture until smooth.

Pour in the cream and add the nutmeg and salt. Cream must have a fat content of at least 20%. Mix everything thoroughly and leave until thickened. If the sauce is too thick, add a small amount of cream.
STEP 8
Add pasta and red fish pieces to the pan with the creamy sauce. Mix everything carefully.
STEP 9
Sprinkle the finished dish with fresh finely chopped herbs. According to your taste, it can be dill, parsley, basil or young onions. Season to taste and serve before it cools!
