Pasta with minced meat in a slow cooker

Quick, simple, whipped up, made from ordinary products! Pasta with minced meat in a slow cooker is a dish that will help you out when you need to cook dinner without a stove. It’s very convenient - both the meat and the pasta will be cooked at the same time, and the resulting dish will be no worse than the one prepared in the usual way.

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make pasta with minced meat in a slow cooker? Prepare your food. Take high-quality pasta, made from durum wheat, it is tastier, healthier and less boiled. I would also advise taking those that take a long time to cook - 10 minutes or longer. But thin spaghetti is better cooked in the usual way. Any minced meat will do, I used homemade beef. Instead of tomatoes, you can use tomato paste or canned tomatoes.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Peel the onion, wash it and cut it into small cubes.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Remove the skins from the tomatoes. To do this, wash them and make a cross-shaped cut on each one.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Place the tomatoes in a bowl and pour boiling water until they are submerged. Keep the tomatoes in it for 1 minute and transfer them to another bowl with cold water.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Due to temperature changes, the skin will be easily and quickly removed. If you don't have to remove the skin from the tomatoes, skip these steps.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Cut the tomatoes into quarters and remove the tough part of the stem. Cut the tomatoes any way you like, I cut them into slices.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Select a mode on your multicooker that is suitable for frying. For me it's "Baking". Set the time to 15 minutes. Pour in vegetable oil and press start. After a minute, when the oil is hot, add the onion to the bowl. Fry it, stirring, for a couple of minutes until transparent.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Then add the minced meat. Use a spoon to break up any large lumps. Cover the lid and fry the minced meat until the end of the program, stir it a couple of times during this time.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

When the frying program has finished, add the tomatoes to the bowl. distribute them evenly over the meat. Add pasta.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Pour in the water; it should be just boiled or very hot so that the device does not have to waste time heating it. The water should cover the pasta. I went a little overboard with the quantity; I could have poured less on my finger. Add salt and spices. Take them to your liking. I use Italian herbs and ground black pepper.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Close the lid and turn on the “Extinguishing” mode, set the time to 20 minutes. After the end signal, open the lid, stir the paste and leave it to stand under the closed lid for another 5 minutes to absorb the remaining water.

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

Place pasta with minced meat on plates and serve with cheese and herbs. Bon appetit!

For the second I prepared pasta with minced meat in a slow cooker according to this recipe. We love this combination very much, my daughter is especially delighted. I made the minced meat myself from a piece of lean pork. I set the multicooker to “fry” for 20 minutes; I wanted to fry the onions longer so that they would turn golden. Stir the minced meat and onions periodically to prevent them from burning. There were 400g of pasta in the pack, and I used all of them. At the same time, I took into account that it is better to take products from durum varieties, which take longer to cook. I had frozen tomatoes, cut into pieces. I poured water into the bowl one finger deep from the layer of pasta. The “quenching” mode turned out to be the most successful for me. Previously I tried to cook pasta in other modes, but it didn’t work out very well. In 20 minutes, the water was completely absorbed, and the pasta had time to cook until tender and did not become sour. It turned out to be just a wonderful hearty and tasty dish! Thank you for the successful method of preparing pasta with minced meat, I will use it many more times!
