STEP 1
How to make a casserole of pasta and minced cheese? Prepare the ingredients according to the list. You can use any pasta according to your taste and availability, preferably from durum wheat. Pour water into a saucepan and put it on fire. Add a little salt. When the water boils, pour the pasta into the pan, stir it immediately with a spoon so that it does not stick to the bottom of the pan. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 8 minutes.
STEP 2
You can also use any minced meat for casserole to your taste. With minced chicken, the casserole will turn out to be less caloric, but with a mixture of pork and beef it will turn out fattier and tastier. Use ready-made minced meat or make it yourself in a meat grinder from fresh meat.
STEP 3
Peel the onions and finely chop with a knife.
STEP 4
Wash the carrots, peel and grate on a medium grater.
STEP 5
Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan with a thick bottom. Warm it up. Place cooked carrots and onions in the oil. Fry the vegetables over medium heat until lightly browned, stirring occasionally with a spatula.
STEP 6
To fry the vegetables, add the minced meat to the frying pan and immediately mix it with the vegetables so that it does not form large lumps. Add salt and ground black pepper to taste. Stir and fry for about 10 minutes over medium heat.
STEP 7
Grease a baking dish with butter. Place some of the pasta in the pan.
STEP 8
Place minced meat with vegetables on top.
STEP 9
Cover the fried vegetables with minced meat with the remaining pasta. Sprinkle finely grated hard cheese on top. Choose the type of cheese according to your taste, the main thing is that it has a not very pronounced specific taste, so as not to drown out the taste of the other ingredients of the dish.
STEP 10
Place the casserole in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 20 minutes. All the ingredients - the base of the casserole - are already ready, so you don’t need to keep it in the oven for a long time so as not to dry it out. The pasta casserole with minced meat and cheese is ready. Let the dish cool slightly and serve it with fresh vegetables, herbs or fresh vegetable salad. Bon appetit!
