I really liked your pancake recipe. I decided to make pancakes with liver according to your recipe and please my loved ones. For cooking, I chose pork liver. Following your advice, I added fried onions to the filling for juiciness, but removed the carrots for my own reasons. The milk pancakes turned out great, thin and soft. I fried them in lard. I crushed the liver filling using a blender to make it more paste-like. I thought it would make the appetizer more tender. In addition to salt and pepper, I added 0.5 tsp ground nutmeg and 1 tsp ground sweet paprika to the filling. These spices combine perfectly with the liver and the filling becomes more aromatic and rich in flavors. But I didn’t have time to fry the envelopes; the pancakes with liver turned out too fragrant and tasty. Lo and behold, half of it is already gone. Scattered with a bang!!!

The pancakes are delicious and filling! For those who love liver in the filling, this is absolutely a fairy tale! An excellent option for a hearty breakfast or a replacement for a second course at lunch, for example. I really liked frying rather than boiling the liver for the filling. This way it turns out brighter in taste and juicier. I additionally added onions to the filling, frying them along with carrots. To my taste, onions just beg to go with the liver. But I needed more milk in the dough than was indicated in the author’s list of ingredients. Most likely this is due to the moisture content of the flour, or to the size of the eggs (since I used medium-sized C2 eggs). Overall, I want to say that the recipe is very worthy. I recommend it from the bottom of my heart to anyone who is wondering: “What should I cook for breakfast?” Make these wonderful liver pancakes! Thank you very much to the author for the recipe!
