Omelette with milk in a slow cooker
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

Prepare all the necessary products. Take large eggs, preferably homemade. Such eggs are not only large, but also usually have a bright yolk and the omelet will turn out to be a beautiful color. Check eggs for freshness before use. Place them in a container of water at room temperature. Fresh eggs will sink to the bottom. If the eggs float to the surface, it is better not to use them - they are not the freshest.
STEP 2

Wash the eggs well. This must be done, because... The shell may contain many bacteria. Beat the eggs into a bowl.
STEP 3

Stir with a fork.
STEP 4

Salt the omelet mixture. In addition to salt, you can also pepper the omelette, or add ground paprika, or some other spices and seasonings.
STEP 5

Pour in the milk. This can be either regular milk of animal origin or plant milk. The fat content of milk is up to your taste! The following proportions are considered classic: for one egg for an omelet, take the amount of milk that fits in half the shell of this egg.
STEP 6

Stir the omelette mixture. I cook a classic omelette without additives. But if you wish, you can add pieces of bacon or chicken, chopped tomatoes or bell peppers, as well as fresh herbs, onions or garlic to the omelette mixture.
STEP 7

Pour the omelette mixture into a heatproof dish. If you have a mold to which dishes stick, then it is best to grease it with a small amount of vegetable oil first so that the omelet does not stick.
STEP 8

We will cook the omelette in a multicooker and there are two options: Or we will cook it in a multicooker bowl. Then place the pan with the omelette mixture in the bowl and add about 100 ml of plain water to the bottom of the bowl. In this case, cook on the Stew mode for 15 minutes.
STEP 9

Or we'll steam it. In this case, pour 200 ml of water into the multicooker bowl. Place the form with the omelette mixture on a steaming stand and cook in the Steam mode. The standard steaming time for slow cookers is 10 minutes, but I recommend increasing it to 15 minutes to ensure the eggs are well cooked.
STEP 10

This is the kind of omelette we get.
STEP 11

This omelet is perfect for breakfast. Bon appetit!
