New Year Cake Clock
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
Ingredients.
STEP 2
Wash and soak the raisins well.
STEP 3
We are preparing a biscuit. Beat eggs with sugar.
STEP 4
Separately mix sour cream and condensed milk (half a can), add to the egg mixture and mix well.
STEP 5
Add sifted flour with slaked soda, mix until smooth.
STEP 6
Divide the dough into 2 parts. Add cocoa and chopped walnuts to one and mix. Add raisins to the light dough and mix.
STEP 7
Grease the mold with oil and pour out the dough. Bake each cake for 30 minutes at 180 degrees. Then soak the cakes with sweet water.
STEP 8
Prepare the cream for coating the cakes. Beat the softened butter with a mixer, gradually adding condensed milk, beat until smooth. Place in the refrigerator while the cakes are prepared.
STEP 9
Coat the cooled cakes with cream.
STEP 10
We also coat the top and sides of the cake. Next we proceed to decorating the cake. Sprinkle the sides of the cake with biscuit crumbs (or walnuts).
STEP 11
For the number stands, I baked one thin cake. Just mix all the above ingredients and bake at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes. I measured what circle would need to be cut for 12 coasters. The lid from a jar of pills with a diameter of about 3 cm served as a round shape, I cut it out.
STEP 12
Since the cream from condensed milk and butter was difficult to spread into small circles, I made more cream by whipping sour cream and sugar.
STEP 13
I rolled the coasters in sour cream and placed them on the cake. I coated the middle of the cake with the remaining cream.
STEP 14
I coated the middle of the cake with the remaining cream.
STEP 15
For the numbers, I melted the chocolate in a water bath.
STEP 16
Apply the chocolate with a brush or simply pour it and level it with a spoon on a thick file so that the numbers can then be easily separated. And put it in the refrigerator for 10 minutes so that the chocolate hardens.
STEP 17
Measure how long the arrows will be and draw with the end of a knife. Then draw the numbers, separate them from the file, and place them on the cake. While you are cutting, the chocolate will melt; you will need to put it in the cold again for 5 minutes.
STEP 18
Place the finished New Year's Clock cake in the refrigerator for the cream to harden.
STEP 19
Bon appetit!
