Today for breakfast I prepared millet porridge with pumpkin in a pot. My daughter loves pumpkin porridge, and now she tried it in a new version. It also came as a surprise to me that baked porridge is much more interesting than boiled porridge in a pan. Millet is usually bitter, so I always not only wash it well, but also fill it with hot water. After 10-15 minutes, I rinse again and start cooking. I cut the pumpkin into small cubes so that during cooking they would be as soft as possible (my daughter likes it that way). I took a larger pan so that the milk wouldn’t run away. But it was not going to run away, apparently the pieces of pumpkin were holding it back). I distributed the future porridge among the pots with a ladle, but did not add to the very top. Bake for 30 minutes at 180°C. The pots are already warm from the milk, so they can be immediately placed in a preheated oven, which speeds up the cooking process. All the milk was absorbed into the cereal, the porridge turned out steamed and thick! It's delicious and nutritious! My daughter and I really liked the baked pumpkin porridge. Thanks for the recipe!
