    Then drain the hot water from the millet and rinse the millet 2-3 more times in cold water.

    Pour milk into a saucepan and add sugar and a pinch of salt. Place the pan on the fire and bring to a boil.

Cover the pan with a lid and remove the porridge from the heat. Leave it to sit for 15 minutes. I don’t wrap the pan in a warm blanket. It will brew well on the stovetop as well.

I cooked millet milk porridge in a saucepan for breakfast. I’ve done it several times before at my husband’s request. He really likes the taste of the porridge. I took 125 g of millet according to the recipe and poured hot water over it for a few minutes to remove the bitterness from the cereal. Then I washed it several times in cold water. Placed it in 0.5 liters of boiling milk, added salt, 3 teaspoons of sugar, and stirred. I used less sugar than in the recipe, but the porridge turned out to be quite sweet. Cooked it for 20 minutes, covered, over low heat, stirring occasionally. Then left it covered for 15 minutes. During this time, the millet absorbed the milk and steamed. I served the porridge with butter. It turned out similar to the one cooked in the oven, crumbly, aromatic, sweet and tasty. The millet was boiled to the aldento stage, the cereal remained somewhat hard on the outside and soft on the inside. Thank you very much for the recipe!
