STEP 1
How to make meatballs in cream sauce in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. For cooking, you can use minced meat from any type of meat. It could be pork, chicken, beef or turkey. I take two types of minced meat - pork and beef.
STEP 2
Rice must be boiled in advance. Place the washed rice in boiling water and cook for 10-12 minutes, until almost done. Then place the rice in a colander to drain excess water. Cool slightly.
STEP 3
In a bowl, combine minced meat and boiled rice. Peel the onion, chop finely and add to the minced meat. Break the egg. Sprinkle salt and spices to taste. Squeeze a couple of cloves of garlic. Mix all ingredients thoroughly and beat the mixture a little on the bottom of the bowl. This will make the minced meat denser and the meatballs will not fall apart during baking.
STEP 4
Any heat-resistant form is suitable for baking. I take the ceramic one. Form meatballs from the meat mass and place them in the mold.
STEP 5
Finely chop the onion and grate the carrots. To prepare the sauce, fry vegetables - onions and carrots - over low heat for a couple of minutes.
STEP 6
Then mix them with flour.
STEP 7
Next add tomato paste.
STEP 8
Pour in some hot water or broth. Simmer the creamy tomato sauce for 2-3 minutes.
STEP 9
Fill everything with cream. Add salt and spices. Stir and bring to a boil. The fattier the cream, the creamier the finished dish will taste. My cream is 33% fat.
STEP 10
Pour the resulting sauce over the meatballs in the mold. Cover with foil and place in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 35-40 minutes. Be guided by your oven.
STEP 11
Remove the finished meatballs from the oven. Remove the foil from them and serve hot. In addition, you can prepare any side dish. Bon appetit!
