STEP 1
Let's prepare the meat. Pour water into the pan and let it boil. Place the pork and add salt so that the meat does not turn out bland. We wait for it to boil again and skim off the foam that forms on the surface. Cover the pan with a lid and cook the meat over moderate heat for one hour. Then remove it from the pan and let it cool. Cut the cooled pork into small cubes.
STEP 2
Peel the onion and cut into medium-sized cubes. Pour a small amount of vegetable or olive oil into a frying pan, heat it, add the onion and fry until transparent over medium heat while stirring.

To assemble the salad, use a flat dish of suitable diameter. Place the first layer of fried onions.

The second layer is jacket potatoes. To do this, first wash it and put it in boiling salted water for 20-25 minutes. Cook until done, which can be checked with a knife or toothpick. Peel the cooled potatoes, grate them on a coarse grater and sprinkle them with the first layer of onions.
