I saw a recipe for pickled oyster mushrooms for the winter - an excellent appetizer and wanted to try it. Of course, I didn’t prepare it for the winter, I just made it as an addition to dinner. There were 300 g of oyster mushrooms in the package, so I reduced the portions accordingly using the site’s calculator. There is no need to peel these mushrooms, just remove the hard base. Therefore, preparation did not take much time. At first it seemed to me that there was not enough liquid for so many mushrooms, but then the oyster mushrooms swam quite freely in the brine. Cooked them for exactly 25 minutes over low heat. The volume turned out to be less than a full half-liter jar. To be honest, I ate half of these crispy mushrooms while they were still warm). They are very tasty! And straight from the refrigerator in the morning it’s even better! Great recipe!

I don’t understand why you need to cook oyster mushrooms for half an hour; they will fall apart later!?

Antip, oyster mushrooms are very dense mushrooms, they don’t fall apart, believe me.
