Marinated fish in the oven

STEP 1

How to make marinated fish in the oven? Take the products from the list. You can supplement the set of spices for the marinade with any of your own spices; additionally, if desired, you can include some mild vinegar in the ingredients: apple, balsamic or other. Especially if you want to serve marinated fish as a cold appetizer.
STEP 2

Clean the fish, rinse well and dry with paper towels. Sea fish that are not bony, be it white or salmon, will work well. Cut the fish into portions.
STEP 3

Salt the fish, pepper it with black pepper, roll each piece in flour.
STEP 4

Heat a frying pan with oil and fry the fish pieces on one side.
STEP 5

then turn over and fry the other side. Place the fish on a plate.
STEP 6

Grate the carrots on a coarse grater or pass through a food processor. In the same pan, fry the prepared carrots.
STEP 7

Add onion and continue frying.
STEP 8

Add spices, tomato paste and water to the vegetables. Simmer the mixture for about five minutes.
STEP 9

Take a deep baking dish. Add half of the prepared vegetable marinade.
STEP 10

Place pieces of fried fish on top of the marinade.
STEP 11

Cover again with a layer of marinade. Cover the pan with foil and place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bake the fish under the marinade for about half an hour.
STEP 12

Serve the marinated fish in the oven hot as a second course; you can additionally prepare a side dish; mashed potatoes would be ideal. If you want to use marinated fish as a cold appetizer, then cool it and serve it on the appetizer table.
