  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make fluffy pancakes with yogurt? Prepare and measure all ingredients. To prepare these pancakes, it is better to take natural yogurt without additives. If you still have flavored yogurt in the refrigerator, try it with it, but adjust the amount of sugar. You can replace yogurt with kefir if the kefir is thick and fatty. Sift the flour first, this will make the pancakes even fluffier.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Pour the yogurt into a bowl, add the egg, salt, sugar and soda.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Mix well with a whisk. It is not necessary to use a mixer; it is enough to simply combine the products without whipping.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Add flour in parts, vigorously stirring the dough with a whisk so that there are no lumps.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

It may take less or more flour, you need to be guided by the dough. It should become thick and flow off the spoon slowly.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Lubricate it with vegetable oil, just a little, with a pastry brush. I always grease just before the first batch, but you check your pan. Spoon the batter into pancakes that are approximately equal in size.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Fry the pancakes on each side for two to three minutes until golden brown.

The fluffy yoghurt pancakes were a great addition to our breakfast. I usually knead the dough with kefir, but this time I used thick strawberry yogurt. I took a large, choice egg. My flour is first grade, I added it in parts and pre-sifted it. Out of 300 g I have about two tablespoons left. The dough turned out thick. The amount of flour that goes into the dough largely depends on the type and grinding. The density of the fermented milk product and the weight of the egg also play a role here. Spread the dough onto the pan with a wet spoon. I poured enough vegetable oil for the pancakes to brown well. They really turned out lush, thick, porous, but a little dense. Which is explained by the presence of yogurt. We had enough pancakes for two tea parties, they are tasty and tender).

My child usually doesn’t finish the yogurt, or we buy them like crazy and the little one just doesn’t have time to drink them. This recipe is just a godsend for me, now expired yogurt goes not into the trash) but into fluffy and tasty pancakes! thanks to the author and my respect)

There was too much flour for the other ingredients. Therefore, then “by eye” I added 1 egg more yoghurt. But my family liked it, but I thought it was too dense and filling.

This amount of flour (300 g) required 500 ml of yogurt.

I am very glad that I found the recipe and saved expired yogurt. The fluffy yoghurt pancakes turned out delicious, but they were fluffy while they were in the frying pan, but when I took them off they fell off a little, I don’t understand why that is. It took half as much flour.
