  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make pancakes with apples with yeast milk? First you need to prepare the dough. Take 125 ml of milk and water, mix them and heat (no more than 40 degrees), add dry yeast, stir and leave for 5-10 minutes while the rest of the ingredients are mixed so that the yeast is slightly activated. A “cap” should appear on the surface. To understand how to work with yeast, I recommend reading an article on this topic. The link is at the end of the recipe.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Break two raw eggs into a deep bowl, add sugar, salt and beat them with a mixer or whisk into a light, fluffy mass.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Pour the remaining milk (preferably warm) and the dough (suitable yeast with milk and water) into the prepared mixture. Knead the dough. Add sifted flour in parts in two or three additions. please note. that you may need more or less flour, adjust the amount according to the consistency of the dough, you can read more about this in the article, the link to it is at the end of the recipe. The dough turns out thick, but viscous, just like pancake dough.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Cover the bowl with the dough with a damp towel and place in a warm place for 45 minutes (it may take an hour depending on the room temperature and yeast activity). During this time, the dough for pancakes with apples should increase 2 - 3 times.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

It is better to choose apples for pancakes that are sweet and not hard. I took simple seasonal apples. Peel the apples, remove the core and cut into rings. Or cut into rings first and then remove the core with a knife. Place sugar in a flat bowl.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Heat a frying pan over medium heat and pour in some vegetable oil. Dip the apple circle first into sugar and then into the dough and place it in the pan, not too close to each other. Fry pancakes with apples first for a few minutes on one side until golden brown, then carefully turn them over and on the other side until cooked (ready pancakes should not have raw edges). Fry all the pancakes in this way, adding vegetable oil to the pan if necessary.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Ready-made pancakes with apples can be served immediately; they are also good warm or cooled. For pancakes, you can offer a glass of milk or tea, as well as honey, jam or sour cream.

I cook apple pancakes with kefir and soda. Yeast pancakes are also a great option.

I made some pancakes for my granddaughter’s afternoon snack. Knowing that she was partial to sweets, she made them with an apple according to the recipe for fluffy pancakes with apples in milk. I kneaded the dough for the pancakes as thick as possible, as I love fluffy pancakes. But I used less flour than in the recipe. To proof the dough, I prepared the oven and turned on the gas briefly to warm it up. The dough stood there for 45 minutes. And it increased 2.5 times. I first dipped the chopped apples in sugar and only then dipped them into the dough and placed them on the frying pan. This left the apples juicy and sweet, and also acquired a soft, delicate consistency. The pancakes came out very tasty, with a fragrant crumb with a bready taste. In general, pancakes and pancakes made from yeast dough are the best for me. And this time they went with a bang! The granddaughter was pleased. Thank you very much!

Just wondering, has anyone tried making pancakes with fruits other than apples, for example, pears? We need to experiment!
