I wanted to cook lightly salted tomatoes. On the website I found a recipe for lightly salted tomatoes with garlic in a jar. I immediately liked the simplicity of preparing the brine, it’s easy to remember. It was enough for a 1.7 liter jar. I took red tomatoes of different sizes to fill the entire jar. I topped them with garlic and sprigs of dill. I added allspice and a laurel leaf. And at the bottom there is a small leaf of horseradish. The jar of tomatoes stood on the table for a day, during which time the brine became slightly cloudy and air bubbles appeared. I didn’t screw the lid on at this time, I just covered it. The tomatoes were kept in the refrigerator for five days. We really liked the taste of them! The tomatoes remained firm, the taste was sour, there was enough salt! The largest specimens were left to lie in the brine. Thanks for the recipe!
