Well, how can you not prepare a refreshing, light and tasty okroshka in such a hot weather! I chose a recipe for lean okroshka with kvass, I had all my own ingredients, I only bought barrel kvass. Very interesting recipe! I only replaced the radishes with radishes, since I don’t really like radishes. I took fresh horseradish. I cooked jacket potatoes in the microwave, which is more familiar to me. I used salad onions, so there was no need to grind them with salt. I chopped and mixed everything. It turned out to be a decent bowl, and I seasoned it according to the author’s advice before serving. I laid out Lenten okroshka in portions without eggs and sausage, poured it with cold kvass, salted it and added a little sour cream. The Lenten okroshka with kvass turned out great! Fragrant, slightly spicy, cold, tasty and most importantly filling! A great lunch option in the sultry heat! Horseradish adds some piquancy to the okroshka! Thanks to the author for the idea!
