STEP 1
How to make lazy peppers with rice and minced meat? To begin, prepare all the necessary ingredients. You can use any minced meat: pork, chicken, beef, homemade. I used minced pork from the pork belly. Boil the rice in advance. You can also use any rice. I used rice for pilaf (long grain). Tomato sauce can be replaced with tomato juice. I took regular ketchup. Choose sour cream of any fat content. I have 10%. Turn on the oven at 180°C.
STEP 2
Wash the vegetables. Cut the pepper into small cubes. Peel the carrots and grate on a coarse grater. Also peel and finely chop the onion. To prevent the onion from stinging your eyes when slicing, wash it and the knife with cold water.
STEP 3
Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the onions and carrots for 2-3 minutes over medium heat. Cool the roast slightly.
STEP 4
In a suitable sized bowl, mix the minced meat with boiled rice. Add salt to taste.
STEP 5
Add fried vegetables and diced pepper to the minced rice and stir.
STEP 6
Prepare the sauce. To do this, mix sour cream and tomato sauce (or juice) in a separate plate. Add your favorite spices. I put khmeli-suneli. You can add a little water if the sauce is too thick. I added 100 ml of water.
STEP 7
Form the minced meat into balls and place them in a heat-resistant form.
STEP 8
Pour the sauce over the meat balls and distribute it evenly throughout the pan.
STEP 9
Bake lazy peppers for 40-45 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bon appetit!
