Lavash with cottage cheese and melted cheese in the oven

STEP 1

To prepare lavash with cottage cheese, we will need the following products: one large sheet of thin Armenian lavash, cottage cheese (I used 5%), bell pepper (I used frozen), dill or parsley, a couple of cloves of garlic, salt and pepper.
STEP 2

Let's start by preparing the filling. To do this, take cottage cheese with 4-9% fat content. Mash the cottage cheese with melted cheese well with a fork. Squeeze a clove (or a couple of cloves) of garlic into the resulting mass using a special press.
STEP 3

Wash the dill thoroughly under running water and dry it on a paper towel. Then finely chop the greens with a knife.
STEP 4

Add chopped greens to the curd mixture and stir until smooth. If the mixture turns out to be too dry, you can add a spoonful of sour cream to it.
STEP 5

Spread a sheet of lavash on the table. Apply a thin layer of curd mixture with herbs onto it.
STEP 6

Wash the red bell pepper, remove the seeds and cut into small cubes. The appetizer will look very beautiful if you use bell peppers of different colors (traffic light). Place pepper cubes on top of the pita bread with cottage cheese.
STEP 7

Roll the pita bread with cottage cheese and pepper into a tight roll.
STEP 8

Place the lavash roll into a greased baking dish and brush the surface with the egg, after stirring it in the cup with a fork.
STEP 9

Sprinkle sesame seeds on top of the lavash roll and bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for about a quarter of an hour.
STEP 10

Let the pita bread cool slightly, then cut it into pieces with a sharp knife. Serve as a snack, warm or cold.
