Lasagna with cheese
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make lasagna with cheese? Prepare your food. Instead of mozzarella and Parmesan, you can use any other soft or hard cheese, and replace the ricotta with non-acidic cottage cheese. But real lasagna is still prepared with these cheeses. If the spinach is frozen, like mine, defrost it a little first, maybe not completely, so it will be easier to grind it.
STEP 2
First, prepare the cheese filling. How to make the filling? Place ricotta, spinach, 2 eggs and 70 g grated Parmesan into the bowl of a food processor. If your spinach is fresh, wash and dry it first, and then remove any stems that are too thick.
STEP 3
Beat everything thoroughly. Add salt and pepper to taste. Keep in mind that the filling contains salty cheese, do not oversalt it.
STEP 4
Next, prepare the tomato sauce. How to make sauce? For this, puree the tomatoes in their own juice. Pour them into a frying pan, bring to a boil, add salt, pepper, dry herbs and sugar if desired.
STEP 5
Boil the sauce for a few minutes, then turn off.
STEP 6
Boil the lasagna sheets in plenty of salted water. Cook a few at a time. Look at the packaging for cooking time; each manufacturer recommends a different time. Place the finished sheets on a towel to remove excess liquid. Now they sell sheets that do not require pre-cooking; use them immediately dry (read the instructions on the package to see which ones you have). Place the sheets on the bottom of the pan.
STEP 7
Place a few tablespoons of cheese filling on top.
STEP 8
Cover it with tomato sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Repeat this three more times. As a result, you will have 4 layers of dough.
STEP 9
Place thinly sliced mozzarella on the top layer of filling. If you are using another soft cheese, grate it.
STEP 10
Pour tomato sauce over top and sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese. Bake lasagna in an oven preheated to 180°C for about 30 minutes, until golden brown.
STEP 11
Let the finished lasagna cool slightly and cut into portions. Bon appetit!
