STEP 1

To prepare the dough, combine soft butter and add powdered sugar to it. Mix. I do not recommend replacing powder with sugar. The sugar may not have time to dissolve and will be grains in the dough.

Separate the white from the yolk and add to the bowl with the butter. Whisk a little. You can use a mixer for this.
STEP 4

Sift the flour through a sieve to saturate it with oxygen. Gradually add flour and knead the dough. You may need a little more or less flour. Focus on the consistency of the dough.

The finished dough is soft, tender and almost does not stick to your hands. Do not add excess flour, otherwise the dough will be difficult to press through the pastry cutters.

Use a wide cookie cutter to shape the cookies. Using a pastry bag, pipe the cookies and make a small indentation in the center. Add some thick jam or preserves to the center. Place the cookies in the oven, preheated to 200 degrees, for 12-15 minutes. Shortbread dough is prepared very quickly.
