Kefir pie Zebra in the oven
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make a zebra kefir pie in the oven? Prepare your food. Take kefir with a fat content of 2.5%, or more if possible. Eggs - category C1. Take natural cocoa powder; a drink like Nesquik will not work. All products should be at room temperature, so remove kefir and eggs from the refrigerator in advance.
STEP 2
Wash the eggs well and dry. Be sure to wash your eggs before using them, as even seemingly clean shells can harbor harmful bacteria. It is best to use food grade detergents and a brush. Beat them into a bowl. Start beating the eggs with a mixer. When foam appears, add sugar in small portions. Add vanilla at the end. Beat everything together until fluffy and light.
STEP 3
Pour kefir into the egg mixture. Mix with a mixer at low speed until smooth.
STEP 4
Sift the flour into a separate bowl. By doing this you will not only remove possible debris, but also saturate it with oxygen, which will make the baked goods more fluffy. Set aside three tablespoons of flour; you will need them later. Add baking powder to most of it and stir.
STEP 5
Start adding flour to the liquid mixture in small portions, stirring the dough after each using a spatula.
STEP 6
You may need more or less flour than the stated amount; you can read more about this in the article, the link to which is at the end of the recipe. Focus on the consistency of the dough. It should become like liquid sour cream.
STEP 7
Divide the dough in half, pouring some into another bowl. Pour the reserved flour into one and cocoa into the other. Flour was needed so that both doughs - white and chocolate - remained the same in thickness after adding cocoa.
STEP 8
Mix both halves of the dough with a spatula.
STEP 9
Take a baking dish. I have a detachable one, with a diameter of 20 cm. I covered the bottom with parchment. Grease the mold with a drop of vegetable oil. Scoop a tablespoon of white batter and pour it into the center of the pan. Then take a spoonful of the chocolate and pour it into the center of the white. So, alternating two types of dough, pour out the entire amount.
STEP 10
Gradually, the dough will begin to spread throughout the entire volume of the mold, forming a striped pattern. You can make a design on top using a toothpick.
STEP 11
Bake the pie for 30-40 minutes in an oven preheated to 180°C. The exact time will depend on your oven and pan size. You can read more about the operating features of ovens in the article about ovens. The link is at the end of the recipe. Focus on the appearance of the pie - it should brown and rise. You can also check the readiness with a wooden skewer; it will come out dry from the center.
STEP 12
Remove the finished pie from the oven, cool and release from the mold. Serve to the table. You can sprinkle the cake with powdered sugar, or you can cut it into layers and layer it with cream - you will get an interesting cake. Bon appetit!
