Kebab in the oven

You don't have to wait until summer to treat yourself to this magical dish! It is impossible to prepare kebab at home! You may say, maybe it’s not realistic for you, but for people who have the desire and at least an oven in a gas stove, this impossibility becomes a reality. For me, going somewhere with my children and eating kebab there is unrealistic!, that is, impossible. After all, you have no guarantee that you are eating fresh meat, much less giving it to your child. But still, knowing about the existence of such food as kebab, sometimes you want to eat it.

    We prepare the necessary ingredients. We take fatty minced beef, pork, and lamb, and also minced lamb fat.

    We re-pass the minced meat through a meat grinder with lamb fat. Finely chop the onion and add to the minced meat.

    Stir, add salt and mix thoroughly again.

    Finely chop the green onions, add cilantro, cumin, ground black pepper and lemon juice.

    Mix thoroughly. Wet your hands with water and form oblong kebabs. You can cut the potatoes into circles, place the kebabs strung on skewers on top and bake in the oven. I cooked them on the grill rack in the oven separately, because... I don’t like it when fat drips onto the potatoes. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, place the kebabs in it, bake for 15 minutes, then turn over and bake for another 15 minutes. Add beer, liquid smoke and potato slices to the pan.

    I string the finished kebabs onto skewers. I put baked potatoes and lula kebab on a plate and complement the culinary composition with onions and green onions.
