  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make julienne tartlets with cream, mushrooms and chicken in the oven? Very simple! First, prepare the necessary ingredients. Take fillet from the breast, it is less fatty. It is better if the meat is chilled. Thaw the frozen food first by transferring it from the freezer to the refrigerator. You can replace the cream with sour cream.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Wash the chicken fillet, dry it and cut it into small cubes. You can replace the chicken with turkey or pork.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Wash the mushrooms, dry and cut into small pieces. If you use frozen mushrooms, then take them with a reserve of one and a half times more, because when defrosting and frying there will be literally a handful left. You can replace champignons with other mushrooms: porcini, chanterelles.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Peel the onion and cut into small cubes.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Grate the cheese on a coarse or medium grater. Any cheese is suitable for this dish - hard, semi-hard. The main thing is that it is tasty, of high quality, without milk fat substitutes and melts well.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the onion and fry until translucent for 3-5 minutes.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Add chicken to pan. Fry, stirring, 5-7 minutes until golden brown. All excess moisture should evaporate from the chicken.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Add chopped mushrooms to the chicken. Fry everything together until excess moisture evaporates from the pan.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Add flour, nutmeg, salt and pepper and mix thoroughly. You can add your own spices to taste.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Pour in the cream. Simmer, stirring, until thickened.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

    Fill the tartlets with julienne.

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

Sprinkle grated cheese on top. Bake the julienne for 5-7 minutes at 180°C until the cheese melts.

  13. STEP 13

    STEP 13

Place the finished julienne in tartlets onto a dish, garnish with herbs and serve. Bon appetit!

For the festive table I decided to make julienne in tartlets with creamy mushrooms and chicken in the oven. I have never baked julienne in shortbread tartlets, it was an interesting experience). For the filling I used frozen champignons. They release more liquid, so I evaporated it over high heat. And then fried it in a mixture of butter and vegetable oils. I used 10% cream, but even with it the taste of the julienne turned out very creamy and delicate. I needed a slightly larger amount, about 50 ml. There was just enough filling for 15 tartlets. I baked them for exactly 15 minutes. The taste is so pleasant and unusual for me. The tartlets were baked and crispy! The filling is tender, the cheese stretches! Very tasty combination and convenient serving!

For this recipe I used large tartlets. What I got was not quite a holiday appetizer, but more of a family meal. I really liked cooking julienne in tartlets, it’s fun!))) Well, my set of ingredients is traditional: chicken, mushrooms, cream.

Thanks for the recipe! Delicious! Instead of grated hard cheese, we used slices of suluguni and heated them in an air fryer. The tartlets came with an airy cheese cap.
